9:00 – 1:00 PM – Paint the Spanish Community Center
1:00 PM – Bus departs for party
1:30 – 4:00 PM – PARTY at North Beach!

HELP BRIGHTEN UP ONE OF OUR NEEDY

This year the Community Relations Committee of the Chicago Paint & Coatings Association will host our 14th Annual “Paint A Brighter Chicago” project on Saturday, July 31, 2010.  This project is designed to brighten the environment for some of the less fortunate of Chicago.  This year we are working with the Spanish Community Center in downtown Joliet, IL to paint their facility to make a better atmosphere for the centers participants!
This community center was founded in 1967 for the purpose of providing social services to the city’s growing Hispanic population.   Over the last four decades the center has evolved from an agency helping only Spanish speaking people of the neighborhood to an agency providing help to the entire community. 
The center provides meals, daily child care/educational and two-way bilingual teaching for the children.
Our committee will provide paint, supplies and volunteers, who will paint many of the needed areas of this facility.  The Chicago Paint & Coatings Association is committed to this project and we are looking to our member companies to help us reach this goal.  In order to make this project a success, the Community Relations Committee and The Chicago Paint & Coatings Association are asking for your support in the form of a monetary donation.  If you or your company would be willing to donate towards this project, the people of the Spanish Center, the Community Relations Committee and The Chicago Paint & Coatings Association would greatly appreciate your generosity.  To make a donation, please complete the form attached to this sheet and fax it to 859-357-6568 by July 9, 2010.
We would love to see you there!  If you, your friends, your family (anyone 15 and older) or anyone in your company would like to donate time for this great project, please complete the volunteer form and fax it to 859-357-6568 July 9, 2010.  It’s a fun day and a great way to contribute to the community!  If you need additional copies of the volunteer form, please either photocopy the blank form or contact Mark Leverone at 630-234-3766.
