Jorgie Strossner Is New Addition to Fitz Chem’s Customer Service Team

Fitz Chem Corporation, a leading Midwest distributor/sales agent of raw materials to the Coatings, Plastics, Ink, Construction, Adhesives, I & I and Personal Care Industries, announced that Jorgie Strossner has joined their  Customer Service Department as a Customer Service Representative.  Her essential duties and responsibilities are to process in-coming orders, confirming pricing, product availability, and maintaining customer codes.  In addition, Jorgie ensures that Fitz Chem’s customers are supplied with accurate and detailed shipping information of their orders.

Fitz Chem Corporation Announces Management Change

Robert C. Becker, President and CEO of Fitz Chem Corporation recently announced that Don Deihs has been promoted to the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.  In this role, Don is responsible for managing all day-to-day activities at the company reporting directly to Bob Becker.  Don joined Fitz Chem two and a half years ago and has held the position of Vice President of Operations for the last two years.  Prior to joining Fitz Chem, Don had over twenty years of experience in a variety of manufacturing industries focusing on operations, finance, and sales management.

Fitz Chem Welcomes Tamara Hanson New Accounting Assistant

Fitz Chem Corporation has expanded its accounting staff with the hiring of Tamara Hanson. Tamara joins the company as an accounting assistant. Last December Tamara graduated from DeVry University with a BS degree in business administration with a focus in accounting after attending night school for ten years while working in full time office positions.

Jennifer Ellingsen Joins Fitz Chem as Sales Coordinator

Fitz Chem Corporation announced today that Jennifer Ellingsen has joined its staff as a Sales Coordinator to support the sales team.  Her essential duties and responsibilities include taking and processing Technical Industry Managers’ and customers’ requests, maintaining computerized pricing information, literature, communicating pricing information to customers and maintaining sales and marketing oriented databases.

Amy T. Hsu Promoted to New Position at Fitz Chem Corporation

Fitz Chem Corporation announced that it had promoted Amy T. Hsu to the position of Pricing Analyst. This is a newly created position within the company. In this role, Amy has been responsible for establishing and processing pricing for the organization as well as reviewing margins per sale and price support administration.

Amy has been with Fitz Chem for 8 years, and previously held the position of Sales Coordinator to the sales support team.

Fitz Chem Corporation Honored with Distributor of the Year Award for 2006 by Columbian Chemicals Company

Fitz Chem Corporation was honored recently with a North American Distributor of the Year Award Plaque by Columbian Chemicals Company for the year 2006.

The North American Distributor of the Year Award was presented on April 12, 2007 by James Howard, Columbian’s President, North American Region to Fitz Chem’s President, Robert Becker.

Fitz Chem employees and management including Edward Croco (Group Director National Accounts) and Robert Milano (Group Director Supplier Sales) attended the presentation ceremony at Fitz Chem’s office which was followed by a catered luncheon. Also present from Columbian were Lester Tyra III (Vice President, North American Sales), David Murphy (Sales Director, North American Industrial Carbon Blacks), Keith Schuld (Regional Sales Manager) and Robert Blanco (Regional Sales Manager).  Fitz Chem’s partnership/distributorship with Columbian includes the sales territory of Minnesota, Wisconsin and parts of Illinois, Indiana and Michigan.

Barbara Merner joins Fitz Chem as Executive Administrator
